I've been playing for the last few hours!
Servers were laggy, but seem to be pretty stable now.

I think Caspian is way more Battlefield and makes so much difference to how BF3 feels as a game. A lot of the irritating things on Metro are less obvious or simply make sense on Caspian.
Still find the animations are simply too long and the soldier feels a fat with fat fingers.
Did have a bit of fun in the vehicles, the jets felt odd although I couldnt seem to invert my mouse and had to make a couple of emergancy face plants.

I agree with inverting the mouse bit.

The keyboard, it's the correct way around and you need the keyboard when in a dog fight situation for all the tight turns. I have kinda gotten used to the mouse being the wrong way around, but I agree it needs fixing. Idiots.

The jets are a lot slower, which I kinda like. It feels like you can turn on a pin head when you decelerate and turn. You can also do some nice strafing like you're in a choppa if you go slow enough.
I have Fraps footage of Legolas doing that, so will get editing to show you all.

Caspian feels like Fushe. Each base is overlooked or overlooking other bases. Trifle fun to play. Jets fly passed your head, choppers, tanks. All the action seems to be happening around you all the time which is what I like.

Agreed, couldn't get my joystick configured, so I attempted to use my wired 360 controller.

I do like that the jets are slower too, not as realistic but it makes it easier to actually affect the game on the ground rather than just dogfights up in the sky.

I will be playing tonight, my EA ID is "CL theBEAR" right now although I'm in the process of trying to get it switched back to ChaosAK47. I hate all this EA/Origin/13 different aliases business. You gonna be on the TS? The voice chat through battlelog is terrible.

Well how did you guys manage to get a server to yourselves?
I'd been hoping there was a LAN mode or something so I could get a grip on the controls and whatnot before a server but I figured I'd just wait until the retail for the real deal.
