Evening ladies and gentlemen.
So, my friend and I are working on a machinima project... I have good experience in the art of making machinima but this is my first foray into Battlefield machinima. My friend and I are just in pre-planning stages, but we're pretty sure it will be revolutionary in the fact that it will be released as one full length film, rather than being a machinima series.
I am doing it in BAttlefield 2142. So, I decided to get familiar with BattleRecorder today, and I looked it up online. It seems the best way to do it would be to get the files done in a local game using console commands, go to the computer/programfiles86/electronicarts/Battlefield2142/mods/bf2142/demos and them to that other pathway (I know it's in documents I just don't want to type it here :p ). I get in game, do the demo.recorddemo [demo1] command. Record some test footage, do the demo.stoprecording command. Alright.
So I go to computer/programfiles86/electronicarts/Battlefield2142/mods/bf2142... and there's no "demos" folder. Okay, do I decide to make one. now I have a pathway to computer/programfiles86/electronicarts/Battlefield2142/mods/bf2142/demos. I try it again in game, and I go back, there's nothing.
So... what am I doing wrong? Did I miss something, or is because I'm using *gulp* VISTA 64-BIT!?!?!?
Help would be greatly appreciated.
