Anyone able to make me a website like elxx's blog but also with a video section, so i can place links and embedded videos of my work on that section. So like a blog page and a video page interlinked.
Here's elxxs blog http://labs.elxx.net/
Thanks for anyone who can help. :D

Want Videos?
Add a new category or page and embed them :D.
I'd suggest you add a page called Signatures and post all of those nice signatures you have made.
Now the customization is now in your hands.

on the ftp go to wp-content/themes/ and upload it there.
Then in the admin section click on the big button that says Design, Under Available Themes you see the theme and just click on the name or screenshot to apply it on your site.

EDIT:
I want to add image links like elxx did on his right hand bar. But i think you have to add them by code, .css is above me, anyone able to help?

In the Admin panel go to Design/Widgets and add the widget text, fill in a name and start typing some html stuff for the pictures.

Also nice are the FCKEditor (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/fckeditor-for-wordpress-plugin/) and Slimbox (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/slimbox-plugin/) plugins.

Don't forget to make sure all your embeded images are like this (no new lines needed):
<image
src="http://www.yourimageurl.com/image.jpg"
title="imagetitle"
width="image width"
height="image
height"
alt="whatpeopleseeiftheimagedoesn'tappear"
border="0">

Well to get it W3 Validated you only need to add the ALT tag
Sir. Dosedmonkey

The alt tag is the only important bit, for people with reading/sight problems so msn same can say the image aloud. Saying that, I rarely bother, a less its very important or going to be checked for some reason.
Title is fairly useless and hiehgt width is only if your going to be using not the original height width embedded in the images information.

Looks like you are going to have fun here. Enjoy your new toy. Be warned. It gets addictive.

heh, another wordpress user, enjoy :)
btw, if anyone wants a blog of their own, wordpress does give people the ability to make the own blog for free on their site at http://wordpress.com
The only real problem in all of this (except for the above) is actually finding a place on the web (a.k.a. a web hoster).
Kind of off topic, but I guess it'll help someone also looking for their own site.

I agree, Notepad++ is great except it can't compile things like TextMate on Mac, unfortunately. For Graphical/Text editors, NVU (http://www.nvu.com/) (and KompoZer (http://www.kompozer.net/)) is helpful, but of course there's always Adobe Dream Weaver if you have the cash.
