Bf2 Wont load?

Hi i have recently been having a problem where bf2 just wont load...

I click on the bf2.exe & it loads up the splash image on the disk and then it doesnt do anything the image just stares there and the game never loads im not sure why and ive played many times b4 im always playing bf2 but now it just doesnt work can any1 help?

I would suggest doing a reinstall of Battlefield 2 to see if that helps.

i just did that a few days ago and then it worked fine and now it doesnt work again .... now i tried to turn on game again waited about 5-6 mins... and it says please instert bf2 disk (The message that comes up when you dont have disk in)

but the disk is there

My graphics card is: NVIDIA Geforce 6150 LE
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Proffesional (5.1, Build 2600)
Sound Device: Realtek HD audio rear output
Memory 958mb RAM
Direct x 9.0c

what do u mean by spin up the disk spins if thats what you mean it sometimes loads up the autorun

You will probably need to uninstall the game again save your mods to another location so you can drop them back into the mod folder after reinstallation and patching.

1.Uninstall the game.
2.Delete any resident files from Battlefield 2 from your Documents folders, and Installation Directory.
3.Run CCleader (Download from filehippo (http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/))
4.Restart your computer
5.Reinstall the game
6.Download Install the full fresh 1.41 patch from EA's website (http://www.ea.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/downloads.jsp).
7.Try and start it up again
8.If all else fails EA has some tools that can help fix the problem, but you will have to submit a ticket (http://support.ea.com), it could be something as simple as a driver or software conflict or even a Windows Update that messed something up.
