Why are you buying an overclocked 8600 and a Quad-core CPU, are you stupid ?

Settle for 800 Mhz RAM.

700W is over the top unless going SLI.

Get an extra, smaller harddrive and use as primary, essential to have minimum 2 drives in a PC.

So Should i get a better GFX card or different CPU

I R going SLi

Ok...Looking

like that?

Ok like a 100 gb?

An 80 GB would suffice for a primary drive, it's personal preference, depends on how much crap you actually install.

Yes, those RAM would be fine, technically, but I can't say whether they're good or not as I do not know the brand.

I would buy a 500gb hd, 500gb is enough and you can get it with 10000rpm (and they're cheaper then 750gb :P)

--edit--

nvm about 10000rpm ;/ seems that site doesn't has any.

That would be insane also.

Otherwise. Troy that pwns. Except Bobcats MatDefism. Just upgrade to an 8800GTX 640 if you can :p. Quad Core will be fine but Dual would be easier for you as not many games will be using four cores for a few years. Uness you want to be an uber editor like Xalias then go for it... If you plan to be a 3D Modeller then go for it... otherwise... it's pointless. Bobcat hit me if i'm wrong.

GFX Card- GeForce 8800 GT Graphics Card Over Clock Edition Dead Mouse
http://shop.atriniti.com/products.products_id.592628.GeForce-8800-GT-Graphics-Card-Over-Clock-Edition.php
I hope you realize that's mislabeled, the product ID clearly shows that it's an 8600GT. I would definitely suggest an 8800GT, it's brand new and a great value. And get it from Newegg, not some crappy misleading place like that site.

As for the power supply, here's something sexier, more reliable, and cheaper.

Watch out for that hard drive, it has AAK in its name.

The Q6600 has become cheap enough that you might as well go for it. However, if the video card upgrade makes you overbudget, go with a dual-core instead.

The Q6600 is basically two E6600 strapped together isn't it?

The Q6600 is basically two E6600 strapped together isn't it?

No, far from it. They aren't physically 4 different cores working to do the same thing. I shall explain later. In all, their not true "Quad Cores", the upcoming 45nm's are though.

Anyway, Ram is overkill. 667 is perfect for the Q6600 (Do you math, 1066 FSB = 533, hence 667 for overclocking) and especially since you're not over clocking as you didn't mention a HSF.

Not a bad case, the NZXT's are some of the best looking, not the best air coolers however.

Would have got different HD too. 1 x 320 GB for Primary system, partitioned for backups - 120 GB for Windows and Programs ect and then another 500Gb for pure backups.

If your WD fails, and you lose all your data, the backup partition will be gone too.

Otherwise, good rig, have fun.

Get an X38 mainboard for your PCIe 2.0 8800GT, the P35/X38's are also better performers then the 680i's. News about the 780i with PCIe 2.0 shows no improvements in performance over the 680i and will be like the debate between P35 and X38. PCIe 2.0 is worth it for the kick off the the next gen GPU's on Dec 1st. The X38 will still be faster than the 780i.

Always get the newest and latest. Except for DDR3, unless you have too much money.

Get 2x 5000AAKS so you can install windows and programs on one drive, and all games on the other.

If you find you need even more performance some time, you can raid them together. If you desire you can still have 2 partitions. Although the partition on the very inside tracks of the hard disk will read/write about 30% slower, its still in raid 0.

Best of both worlds :D
