Battlefiel Sounds?

Hey guys, i just asked me, how to get that bf2 souds out of the game, i mean that radio sounds like when someone is requesting a UAV or something. I think you guys know that :D

You can find them in the \\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\Common_client.zip and within that file in the Sound subdirectory.

If you don't own winamp, you'd most likely want to convert them to mp3.

Do so with http://www.audio-converter.com/.

Which ones exactly ? I had a problem at one point where some filtered sounds were too quiet, but then I turned up the volume :D.

Uhm, pretty much.. no they arent to silent, when in open them, they dont even get played but the player is opening, its like they have not even 1 second to play.

Many of the files are very short and if you have a crap OGG decoder, they probably won't even play in their entirety.

Winamp should play most of them (I don't remember if Winamp does OGG ?), but other than that, you'd be better off downloading a codec pack.

Yep Winamp does .ogg.
Yeah, some files may only be 2 seconds long and just get repeated in game... like foot steps.
